The Morning Star Bar & Restaurant, a vibrant local spot in Belfast, Northern Ireland, came to me in need of a website redesign that would match their recent rebrand. Their existing Wix website lacked the functionality and aesthetic appeal they needed to effectively showcase their menu, atmosphere, and booking capabilities. This project focused on transforming their online presence into a dynamic, easy-to-use platform that reflects the restaurant’s character while providing a seamless experience for every visitor.

The VIP Day Process
We kicked things off with a focused but strategic prep session to define their goals, brand tone, and key priorities for launch day. The Morning Star is known for its lively, welcoming atmosphere and loyal local following, and the aim was to bring that same energy into their digital space. A top priority was elevating the site’s visual appeal to match the venue’s vibrant personality. High-quality images of the bar, dining space, and signature dishes were used throughout the site to showcase the ambience and draw visitors in, making the experience online just as exciting as a visit in person.
